My Review of the HGUC RX-77-2 Guncannon
This is my second Gundam model kit that I bought and I must say that I had much more pleasant experience with the helmet piece than I did for the RX-78-2 Gundam HG. What's cool about the HG model kit builds is that the parts appear to be swappable without any extra work.
That's right, so in essence you can literally create your own custom builds. I can literally take the helmet from the RX-77-2 and put it on the RX-78-2.
Unlike the RX-78-2, this kit comes with a total of 8 runs. I took my time with this build but I believe that the Gun Cannon can use some more work in time. And when I say I took my time, I mean that played nice. I didn't let my emotions get the best of me. That's right, I actually followed the manual properly this time.
Here is what the manual looks like.

I started by working on snipping parts for the body. This was fairly easy to assemble until I had connect the the waist/base to chest and back. This was truly painful. Keep in mind that some of these pieces may need some brute force to truly snap into place.
Now you still have to be patient as do not want to break your pieces in the process. Here I constantly looked at the manual to see that my connection was crooked and loose. Of course the waist would simply fall out of the connector as it wasn't secured to begin with. I forced the piece in aggressively to get it just right. No glue needed.
C23 and C24 which make up the cannons came out a little scruffy. But it's ok for now, I can always go back to touch it up if I really want to. I'm sure I can figure this out with help of the Gundam/Gunpla community.
Next, I assembled the head piece. The E1 eye piece was much easier to put into place when compared to the
RX-78-2 seriously. Connecting the head piece to the body is pretty straight forward there after.
Next i assembled the left and right arms for the Gun Cannon. Be careful as I assembled the arm backwards. You'll know if this was done correctly if you can't bend the arm as if the Gun Cannon was trying to a do a bicep curl.
Now when it comes to the leg assembly a ran to some issues more specifically with the left leg. I had trouble keeping it in place believe it or not. It was another situation similar to the waist piece that I assembled earlier. It was a little frustrating to say the least.
To get passed this hurdle, I disassembled the left leg completely and checked the C10, C16 and C14 pieces. Just like arms, make sure you don't assemble them backwards otherwise they will not bend properly at the knee ligement. Also try to be gentle as you may damage the parts.
I realized that these pieces were not connected exactly has depicted in the manual. That was my issue causing the leg to appear shorter than the right leg. On top of this, I had to use little bit of elbow crease to snap the joints into place correctly. The feet were easy to assemble.
