If you are a beginner, do not snap off all of the pieces of the runs as it will take you much longer to assemble the Gundam model. Of course if you are up for the challenge, that is fine to.

The runs are labeled as followed:

  • Run A

  • Run B

  • Run C

  • Run SB-13

  • Run PC-002

  • Run SB-13

For the Body, use the A, PC, C,and B runs to complete the connection properly in perfect order.

For the head, user the A and B runs. Be careful connecting A1 for the eye piece is very delicate and can snap in between your fingers. You will need glue to fix this. Connect A1 to A3 and connect the eye stickers to cover A3.

If you don’t have glue you can still paste the eye sticks to the head. It just won’t have the 3 dimensional look that you would expect with the A1 part behind it.

Another alternative solution would be to cut off another part of that run in an effort to trim it down to fit in place of where the A3 piece would go. You may need glue for this to hold these trims into place. Once in place, you can paste the eye stickers on those modded pieces to get that 3 dimensional look.

If you have other runs from another Gundam model kit, you can probably find other parts of different runs to achieve this goal as well.

I managed to improve my eyes by using the plastic cap for a pair of tweezers. The first thing that I did was separate the helmet and pieces that make up the helmet. The eye stickers were also removed from their position.

Then, I took the cap off and cut the bottom using a pair of scissors to create a plastic ring.I took another a pair of scissors with slightly sharper blades to cut the the plastic into two narrow pieces.

I connected the eye sticker to the plastic piece. This piece was placed on top of A3 without any super glue. Once in place, the connected the helmet back together.

For the right arm, left arm, right leg and left leg, connect the B, PC, and C pieces as shown in the manual.

For the waist, connect the A, B, C and PC pieces.

Connect the arms to the body

Connect the waist to the body.

Connect the legs to the waist.

Use the A and C runs to connect the following armaments:

  • Beam rififle

  • Beam saber

  • Hyper Bazooka

  • 60 mm Vulcan Gun

  • Shield

Connect the SB-13 sabers to C11 + C5 for the hands to hold the light saber in position.

Connect the hyper bazooka to the back of the body when it is not in use by any of the hands.

Connect your shield to the C11 + C5 for the hands to hold it in position.

Be careful with certain poses as some pieces may disconnect without glue.Overall, the pieces are easy to reconnect incase they do snap off. Use nail filers to trim your run cuts as not cuts from the run are perfect.

This will improve the overall aesthetic of the RX-78 Gundam model build to look less amateurish. Use pliers to encourage neat cuts/snaps from the run.
